David Malyar brings over two decades of experience spanning telecom, technology, business brokerage, and commercial real estate. He built his career mastering both leadership and execution — rising through sales and management roles while learning how to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver measurable results. His passion for helping business owners and executive leaders unlock growth ultimately led him to advisory work — where he began developing the systems and strategies that now define SBS Advisors.
While advancing in his corporate career, David continued investing in his education and entrepreneurial vision. He earned a Commercial Real Estate Certificate from Cornell University and obtained real estate licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida, combining his experience in B2B consulting with commercial and transactional expertise. This unique blend of business strategy, dealmaking, and systems thinking became the foundation for SBS Advisors | Sell Buy Sold™ — a modern firm built to help clients grow, scale, and exit with confidence.
As Managing Partner, David leads the firm’s advisory and M&A initiatives with a focus on clarity, partnership, and performance. Sean Alexander brings over three decades of global business experience across operations, consulting, and entrepreneurship. He has advised organizations such as IBM, American Express, Humana, Burger King Corporation, the U.S. Army, and multiple middle-market companies — while also owning and operating three successful businesses of his own. His work across five continents gives him a practical understanding of market dynamics, value creation, and what it truly takes to help business owners grow, scale, and prepare for a successful exit.
Throughout his career, Sean has taken a deeply hands-on approach, immersing himself in the day-to-day operations of the companies he supports. This allows him to identify real-world opportunities and operational challenges that matter most during valuations, M&A planning, commercial real estate decisions, and strategic transformations. His academic background — including a Cum Laude Master’s degree (MDiv), a Ph.D. in Philosophy, and a Master’s in Psychology — strengthens his analytical approach and his ability to guide owners through complex decisions with clarity and confidence.
